Today, I got a package from my best friend Alex. Yay for Alex, he's the best!

Had to peel my way through the first layer of beauty samples from all my online purchases.

For my birthday (November 4th by the way), Alex got me a Nintendo 3DS Xl and the Pokemon Y game. Now I really "Gotta Catch 'Em All"! Also, I'm a big fan of Black Lagoon, so he threw in his copy. Thank you Alex! Don't lie, I know you read this :P

And finally, the part you've been waiting for...the makeup!

Who helps you with your international purchases?

Looking gorgeous one lipstick at a time.

    1. All of them :P Nordstrom (my favorite), Saks, Bergdorf Goodman, and Neiman Marcus all accept international credit cards, so I mainly shop those sites.

  3. Happy belated birthday, dearest one!

Can't wait to see what you do with those Dior Fusion Mono sparklies :D

....Can I admit I've never played a Pokemon game? D: Can/should I start with X/Y? I am deep into replaying Ocarina of Time however, ah the nostalgia :D

    1. Most of the main series Pokemon games are very similar (child/teenager gets drafted by scientist to capture wild animals... what could go wrong?) with tweaks & improvements between each generation. I'd say X/Y gets a LOT right, but if your intention is to play through the main storyline & stop, rather than explore some of the player vs player battling aspects, the difficulty curve was thrown way off. X/Y got rid of the XP grind that the older Pokemon games have, which I appreciated, but the trainer battles have gotten really easy because it's easy to far outlevel the part of the storyline you're in. The main challenge now is building good teams with good skills and abilities and training their stats.

...However, I mostly play it for the EEEE CUUUUUTE!, which is a totally legit way of doing it, as well. :)

    2. Thanks, Toby :D That sounds ideal, actually! I haven't the patience/time for grinding now (that came out wrong) but EEEEEEE is ALWAYS a legit reason.

    3. @Kate Thank you my love <3

I'm still playing Dr. Frankenstein with those Dior mono shadows.

X/Y would be a good introduction into the series. I'm a huge zelda fan, and I've already uploaded The original Legend of Zelda onto my 3DS. Bringing back my childhood Nintendo! :P

  4. Oh yes!! This is a LARGE flat rate box - filled to the brim :))
Our customs guys would love to collect on an import like this!
Please tell me that in honour of your birthday, it slipped through unnoticed?!
Do you know that I have never played any game on any gadget - ever! My sons make up for my dismal failing though as they are all ipod, ipad , laptop Nintendo & X-box junkies. I regularly make myself VERY unpopular by hauling them back into real life to get the odd bit of schoolwork done :)
Have a ball with your haul ;)

    1. Actually, I never get charged those nasty import taxes when using USPS (knock on wood!). Now, evil DHL is another story >;(

I haven't played a video game in a while, but I do enjoy them. These portable gadgets are a great way to pass the time while commuting, or killing the time when the restaurant you're dining at has a insanely long wait time.

Pokemon X/Y is GREAT, & possibly my favourite of the series yet. :D

I love feeding and playing games with my Skiddo and Linoone (there's more, but I don't think you want to read them all...or do you :P)!!

    2. Oops, I didn't see this until now! I love geeking out about Pokemon, so feel free to continue if you like! I love that you can interact more directly with the Pokemon this time around, but I still miss having Pokemon follow behind you on your adventures. :(

    3. I still have my Pokemon red. Wish you could carry them into the current games.

  6. Ahhhh! I want to play in that pile of makeup. Lie on it like it's a pile of money. And throw pieces up in the air, catch them, and laugh like a maniac. :D

    1. LOL, so observant :P The price of makeup in so expensive in JP, that even with the $86 shipping fees, it still comes out cheaper.
