3 Plums, I Win! O.P.I. Nail Lacquer

While I was sick, I decided to reorganizing my nail polishes and I came upon an old favorite, O.P.I.'s 3 Plums, I Win! I LOVE the color, and, in my skewed mind, a brilliant polish for Spring.

3 Plums, I Win! is a rich, medium fuchsia-lilac-purple with a shimmery, metallic finish. The metallic formula does allow for some minor streaking, but that doesn't bother me. Opaque after two coats, 3 Plums, I Win! wears for an impressive 5-6 days. 3 Plums, I Win! is such a gorgeous polish, it's a shame that it wasn't added to the permanent lineup. If you even stumble upon this beauty, buy it!

A bellyful...Special Delivery From Wondegondigo

Special delivery from my beloved Bellyhead, who helped me acquire some goodies on my want list. Thank you my darling <3

Besides the makeup goodies, she added some lovely extras, samples, a Sabon (a fav brand of mine) hand Cream, and Pop-Tarts. There were two packs of Pop-Tarts, but I was devouring one while taking this picture. Thank you for all the extras belly, especially the Pop-Tarts!

They Make A Yummy Pear! Tasty Related, Not Beauty Related

Now, I'm not a fan of Fanta drinks, but this seasonal limited release has become a favorite during this warmer, humid weather we've been having. Honestly, with humidity levels of 94%, it's been insane!

Anyway, back to the drink...Who would've thought that a carbonated pear-flavored soft drink would be so good? And it is!! THis Fanta drink is so refreshing and delicious; it's become my "go to" drink to cool me down.

Discovered any new refreshments recently?

Painting Is An Illusion...Addiction Moon Illusion 002 Top Coat

While uploading photos from last nights wedding (the third wedding I've attended within 2 weeks), and found a forgotten Addiction polish post taken a few weeks ago.

Addiction's Moon Illusion over a thin coat of Mac's Festive Finery Nail Lacquer.

I don't mean to change the subject, but can some recommend a good nail hardener, the nail on my ring finger keeps breaking.

Addiction's Top Coat in Moon Illusion 002 is a sheer lilac-dusty mauve base-coat loaded with silver, violet and champagne glitter. I'm happy to report that Moon Illusion doesn't have that loathsome gritty texture plagued by some glitter polishes. Although the top coat is very sheer, requiring several layers to achieve minimal opacity, it can be worn alone. Personally, I feel Moon Illusion (along with the other top coats from the brand) works best when layered over other polishes. Addiction's top coats enhance, alter and give a gorgeous dimension to any polish.

What are some of your favorite top coats?

Fruit of the Angels...The Body Shop Papaya Shower Gel

May's shower gel is The Body Shop's Papaya Shower Gel. Papaya is the fourth shower gel from The Body Shop that I've tired. Today was my first time using the shower gel, so, I can't attest to it's moisturizing ability; but, it lather well and, most importantly, it leaves me clean. The scent is nice, but not 100% papaya. I swear there's some grapefruit in there.

Have you tried The Body Shop's Papaya Shower Gel?

The Dep... Shu Uemura Depsea Water Lavender Mist

I enjoyed Shu's Depsea Water Mist in Bergamot so much that once it finished (lasting 10 weeks), I went back to the counter and picked up the Lavender scent. I've only been using the lavender mist for a few days, but so far, the hydrating benefits are the same. The lavender fragrance is very calming and smells great! If you'd like to read my first post on Shu Uemura's Depsea Water Mist and my overall thought on facial mists, click here.
