In Mint Condition...RMK Basic Skincare Kit

Knowing nothing about this limited edition RMK Basic Skincare Kit, or its release date (except that it was released this year), I saw all the travel-sized products were chocolate mint scent; thus, I was sold.

Retailing for 2,700 yen, the Basic Skincare Kit comes with: Cream Soap (facial cleanser), Skintuner Smoother Moist (lotion/toner), Herb Mist, and Lipstick Balm. All these products are available in full size in the RMK Skincare line.

I wish RMK would keep the chocolate mint scent because it is incredible! All the products smell like the delicious Keebler Grasshopper Cookies (making my mouth water). Every time I use these products, I want to eat them. Now, I have a hankering for Grasshopper Cookies, but no way to get my hands on a bag. If anyone wants to do a Japanese beauty-for-cookies swap, please let me know...I'm serious!

All the products are great, and the kit is a nice introduction to those who may not be familiar with the brand's skincare line. Also, they're great for gift giving, and the mini-sizes make this kit perfect for travel or throwing one in your bag for on-the-go use.

I got the RMK Basic Skincare Kit at the Isetan Mirror in the lumine Shinjuku Store. I was there a week ago, and they still had several boxes... I may need to pick up some more.

The Golden Compact

Last week was extraordinarily busy (it will slow down after V day). So, I kept my look simple by editing my makeup choices and using products from RMK's Autumn Layering Colors 2013 A/W Collection.

RMK Ingenious Cream & Powder Eyes 05 Brown Gold.

The Ingenious Cream & Powder Eyes are a tiny, lightweight, 2-in-1 compact that is a necessity in any makeup kit. The upper deck contains a matte cream shadow,
which slides out to expose a glimmering (not glittery) color coordinated powder shadow.

The product also comes with a small dual-sided retractable brush. Not bad if you're in a pinch.

I love all of these products, especially both eyeshadows and the lipgloss.

The Peculiar Purple Polish of Porcupine Peak...Ah Rata tata tata tata tatah! RMK Nail Color P-34 Deep Purple

With all of its various shades and complexities, purple is a color that really has a life of its own...and RMK's Nail Color in P-34 Deep Purple demands your attention.

P-34 Deep Purple is a magnificent, blackened-royal purple riddle with pink, violet and sapphire blue shimmer. The formula is thick, but applies easily, and it's almost opaque in one coat. I get about four to five days of wear before experiencing any tip wear.

sfsdf No photo can do this illustrious polish any justice; it needs to be experienced first-hand in order to admire all its beauty. RMK's P-34 Deep Purple has become one of my favorite purple polishes in my collection.
