Gomen, Gomen, Gomen!!!

I purchased these items about two months ago, played with them, and put them aside for a later post, but then with work/life, I completely forgot about them. Sorry guys!!! But hey, it's still spring, so I'm not too too late :P

The pieces I got from these collection were: The eyeshadow trio in Douce France, the single shadow in Lhasa, the eyeshadow duo in Paramaribo, the blush in gaiety ( I already owe Albatross), Bilbao Lipstick, Valparaiso Pure Matte Lipstick and Mexican Rose Velvet Gloss Lip pencil (unfortunately, mexican Rose was not included in the package, so I don't have it to swatch. I'll make sure to wear it in one of my looks and post it).

Nars Eyeshadow Trio in Douce France.
From left to right

A semi-matte pale (almost white) pink.

A semi-matte warm medium pink.

A matte cranberry rose.

From left to right: Lhasa eyeshadow single, Paramaribo eyeshadow duo.

Lhasa: a shimmery purpley-lavender grey taupe.

Paramaribo: the first shade is a frosty golden yellow olive and the second is a frosty dark brown olive bronze.

From left to right: Gaiety, Balbao, Valparaiso.

Gaiety: a matte cool toned bright candy pink. Although Gaiety has a matte finish, it really glows on the cheeks.

Balbao: a lustrous warm browned dusty rose.

Valparaiso: a matte reddened berry.

Here are a few looks I wore using the products from this collection:

Products used:
Face:
Nars Sheer Glow Foundation in Santa Fe (Medium 2).
Shu Uemura Hard Formula brow Pencil in Seal Brown.
Nars Gaiety Blush.

Giorgio Armani Eye Brow Defining Pencil in 3-beige used to line my lower lashes.
Lips:
Nars Pure Matte Lipstick in Valparaiso.

Since rediscovering this collection, I'm in love! At first, I was a little unsure of Valparaiso for spring. Since Valparaiso is a shade I would use more during Fall/Winter, but after using it, I can see how lovely a shade Valparaiso is for this season. All the products are amazing; with the exception of the eye shadow trio in Douce France. The pale pink shade did lean a bit chalky, but either then that, the other two shadows had great pigmentation and applied well. My favorite pieces are Lhasa, Paramaribo, Valparaiso, Balboa, and Gaiety. Basically, everything :D

What are your thoughts on this collection? Did you pick up anything from it?

Looking gorgeous one lipstick at a time.

    1. Lhasa is such a gorgeous eye shadow!! Also, I'd recommended the eye shadow duo in Paramaribo since it's limited edition.

  7. For someone just getting into taupes (NC20/25), would you recommend Addiction Singita or NARS Lhasa?
Hmm... the better question might be: which one do you prefer?

    1. I'd recommend Singita. Lhasa is a purpley-lavender grey taupe and it may lean more purple against your skin tone. Singita has a little more brown to it, so it would look more taupe on you. To be honest, I love them both! In the future, if your budget allows, I think it would be a great investment to have both in your collection, since they're very different from one another.
