Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush Swatches

Hey guys,

Here are some swatches of the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blushes I own. I got these lovelies back in January during my trip to Los Angeles. Tarte isn't sold in Japan...so, instead of having buyer's remorse for not picked up more when I had the chance, I decided to buy all the Amazonian clay blush shades that were available at the time. Mind you, a month after I came back from my trip, Tarte released four more shades...Curse you Tarte! >:(

From left to right: Blissful, Tipsy, Amused, Natural Beauty.

Blissful: An intense pinkish-coral with a subtle sheen.

Tipsy: A shimmery peach-coral.

Amused: A matte blue-toned bright pink.

Natural Beauty: I agree with Tarte's color description of  Natural Beauty; a muted strawberry red with a sheen finish.

From left to right: Exposed, Dollface, Flush, Blushing Bride.

Exposed: A matte muted dusty rose brown.

Dollface: A mid-tone neutral pink with a subtle sheen.

Flush: A matte mid-tone fuchsia.

Blushing Bride: A plum wine with micro gold glitter.

Although these blushes don't live up to their 12 hour claim, their formula does provide a good amount of wear time, I get about 6 to 7 hours of wear time with these blushes. They are pigmented, soft in texture, blend smoothly, buildable, and provide a soft natural flush. Also, the amazonian blushes come in a beautiful range of colors that would flatter every skin tone. The Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blushes are fantastic and work for various skin types and skin tones. I would definitely recommend looking into these blushes  :)

The Amazonian Clay blushes retail for $25.00, and can be purchased at: tarte.com, sephora.com and anywhere else Tarte cosmetics are sold.

Have you tried the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blushes? if so, what is your favorite shade?

Looking gorgeous one lipstick at a time.

  1. These have been on my wishlist for a while, especially Exposed :) Sadly Tarte isn't available in Australia. The colours look really pigmented and like they'd blend quite easily. Very helpful swatches!

  2. WOW!!!! I love Tarte Amazonian Clay. I only have Exposed, but I think that I might pick up Dollface (it's gorgeous!).

If there are products that you can't get in Japan and are interested in getting your hands on, I suggest you putting a shout out to your fellow bloggers and readers suggesting a swap! ;P

    1. no! sephora came and gone in 1 year (they can't afford the crazy land rent apparently)... and even when they were here, they don't carry Urban Decay nor Too Face nor Tarte nor Hourglass all the good stuff :(

btw, did you get my email? :)

  6. The only Tarte blush I have is the one that came with my marajuja set. It is a Amazonian Clay but different than these. I may have to pick up a couple. I really love exposed and dollface.
