The Girl Who Played With Fire...Addiction By Ayako Girl On Fire Lipgloss Swatches and Look!
I purchased the Addiction's 'Girl on Fire' lip glosses and nail polishes when the collection launched in January. But, I only started using them within the last month, as the colors felt more Summery.
At first glance, I was going to pass on the glosses, but after swatching them, I was sold!
From left to right: Factory Girl, Yellow Cab, Purple Rain, Girl on Fire.
The doe-foot applicator has a dip in the middle to hug the lips beautifully as you apply.
I love the unique wash of color that these glosses give to bare lips, and when applied over other lip products.
All four colors have been getting a lot of love from me in the past month. Addiction lip glosses retail for ¥2,625 (based on today's currency exchange, that's $26.80), and contain 5.5 grams of product. I highly recommend picking up one (if not all) of this glosses.
As with all Addiction collections, I love the promotional image for the collection. I've been wanting to give my little spin on the look, but I haven't had an evening to do, what would warrant, such a dramatic look...that is, until this Sunday :)
For color comparisons, I've swatched all the products used to create this look.
From left to right: Eye shadow Cigarette & Nostalgia, Kohl Eyeliner Secret Nights (blue shade), Eye Lacquer WP Swimming Pool.
From left to right: Blush in Sometime, Rococo, Nocturne. The overcast sky really washed out the beauty of these blushers, especially Nocturne.

Did you get any of the glosses from this collection?
Looking gorgeous one lipstick at a time.
LOVE YOUR LOOK!
ReplyDeleteI haven't get anything from this collection but I think I have to get one after seeing your post... all of them looks juicy to me, but I am quite conservative so I am not sure about the blue, yellow and purple glosses on me!
Thank you Cutie <3
DeleteIf you're not comfortable wearing them on bare lips, they also work beautifully over lipsticks as enhancers.
I don't think I'd be brave enough to even swatch any of those colours so it's quite cool to see them swatched! I want to see how the blue changes a lip colour :D
ReplyDeleteI'll be featuring them with the looks I create using the Summer quads :D
