From left to right: 3AM, Dizzy Love, Private Beach.

No visit to Lake Town is complete without a trip to Cosmeme. Two weeks ago, Cutiefishball requested swatches of Addiction's Spring eyeshadows. Luckily Cosmeme has an Addiction counter.

3AM: a semi-frost vanilla with a soft yellow gold sheen.

Dizzy Love: a frosty ivory loaded with silver flecks.

Private Beach: a frosty nude-champagne loaded with gold and silver flecks.

From left to right: Morning Squall, Meeting at Dome, Cafe Mambo.

Morning Squall: a frosty lilac with gold and silver flecks.

Meeting at Dome: a dusty lavender-taupe with micro multicolored sparkles.

Cafe Mambo: a dirty olive with a satin finish.

Out of the six eye shadows, I found the flaky texture of Dizzy Love and Private Beach to be disappointing/problematic. You'll definitely need to invest in a product like Too Faced Shadow Insurance Glitter glue and use a patting motion to prevent fallout. Meeting at Dome, Cafe Mambo and 3AM were instant loves. Morning Squall is also beautiful, but it also suffers from a slight flaky texture.

Okay beauties, I have a very bad cold/fever and I'm starting to feel drained. I have a job tomorrow, so, I'm going to call it an early night and hope I feel better in the morning...cross your fingers for me.

Looking gorgeous one lipstick at a time.

  1. I got myself 3AM for starters and I love it! It's steadily becoming one of my HG eyeshadows. It's very warm, to me it resembles like a shiny lemon sorbet. I love to use it as a highlight to my inner corners. Sounds a bit odd, but looks great to me.

    1. 3AM is a gorgeous highlight shade! Besides looking beautiful in the inner corners, #am also works on brow bone, Cupid's bow, cheekbones, bridge of the nose, etc.

  2. I asked my friend to pick up Cafe Mambo and 3AM sight (and formula) unseen for me so I'm so glad it has the tick of approval from you! Looks like Meeting At Dome will be on my list to buy later on :)

  3. Feel better soon! :(

How different would you say Cafe Mambo & Safari Mode are? I was intending to get Safari Mode for my birthday, but Cafe Mambo also looks lovely.

    1. Thank you for the get well wishes Toby :) I'm better now, but I still have this horrible cough that I just can't get rid of...annoying.

Safari Mode is a brighter green and Cafe Mambo is more muted/dirty. Oh, when's your birthday?

    2. How is the cough now? Better, I hope?

Hmmm, I suppose I'll have to get both. My birthday's June 1. :)

    3. Hey Toby, Happy Unbirthday! Did you pick up both shadows?

    4. I did end up picking them up, thanks! Now looking at fall collections (SUQQU! Addiction single shadows!) & weeping softly into my wallet.

So sorry to hear how ill you were -- my health also tends to tumble into disaster if I don't give it a chance to heal properly. :( Please take care of yourself!

    6. They are beautiful! Cafe Mambo actually ends up more of a dirty silvery taupe on me, & Safari Mode surprised me with the gold sheen. :D

That is incredibly kind. I may have to take you up on that for Suqqu fall -- that palette looks irresistible! :)

    7. On me, Cafe Mambo is a dirty taupe-khaki green with a subtle silver sheen. It's the gold sheen in Safari Mode spectacular! Beautiful for Summer and Fall :)

I don't know why I never offered to get products for you before, sorry! No more extortionate prices for you! Actually, there were a few things I forgot to get from Dior Summer that sold out here. So, if you want to swap, let me know :D

    8. You had offered, actually! I just felt bad about taking you up on it. What Dior Summer did you want? I can certainly take a look. Canadian prices are a bit higher than US ones, though, fyi. D:

    9. No need to feel bad Toby :) I'm still on the fence on the Dior products, so I'll let you know.
