I can't believe it has been almost a month since my last post...where does the time go?! My beauty blogging absence first started when I came down with a really bad cold. Then, add a hectic work schedule, my immune system was quickly reminded that it wasn't completely recovered; thus, causing me to come down with an even worse flu/fever that morphed into this "space alien cold" from the far reaches of the galaxy that resulted in an eye infection. I've never had an illness cause an eye infection, have you?

I purchased Etude House's & Rose Flowering Eyes Palette back in September, but I finally cracked it open last month since I felt the shades in the palette were more to my liking for Spring.

This is my first eye shadow palette from Etude House and, I must admit, I had zero expectations. Actually, in all honesty, the sole reason I picked up the & Rose Flowering Eyes Palette was for the eyeshadow shades Blossom, Gloomy and Poison; that deep wine red and those purples were just shouting my name. After using the & Rose Flowering Eyes Palette, I must say, I really like this little dark horse of a palette. The texture of the shadows are way better than expected; surprisingly, they're somewhat buttery, soft and pigmented.

Grrrrr, in the last two photos, Blossom looks like a deep magenta pink, but it is actually beautiful deep wine red in person.

What products have you tried from Etude House?

Looking gorgeous one lipstick at a time.

    1. Once my eyes locked on the red and purple shades, I had to pick this palette up. I've already made a dent in some of the shadows. It was fun creating different looks with the palette...happy purchase :)

    1. I have a few other Rosy Tint Lips that I need to post on. I've tried Tea Rose as a blush as well, and yes Attika, it does make a pretty blush :)

  3. This suits you - especially those wines and plums, perfect! I've never been interested in Etude House, but this does look delicious.

I think I've had conjunctivitis caused by a cold, but I think it was mostly because I was being unhygienic and probably blew my nose and then rubbed my eyes without disinfecting first... isn't that gross, lol!?

    1. Hey Bonnie,

This was my first Etude House Palette, and I'm impressed!

Conjunctivitis is gross! But, I don't know how it happened :( I wasn't wearing any makeup, I put myself in quarantine and was disinfecting everything...odd.

Btw, sorry for my absence, but if you want the Shu Synthetic 12 eye brush let me know.
