Lady, Lady LovelyLocks

As with my skin care, I change my hair products on a seasonal basis. The Summer heat and humidity in Tokyo is no joke...especially, the humidity. Around this time, my hair really goes through the ringer. To keep my mane healthy, silky-soft, manageable and shiny, the following products are part of my summer hair care routine:

I had the Pump for these, but I can't find them anywhere...insert expletive(s).

Wella SP Luxeoil Keratin Protect Shampoo: For all hair types, this lightweight formula cleans without leaving my hair feeling dry or stripping its color.

Wella SP Luxeoil Keratin Conditioning Creme: I'm not sure if it's the hard water or what, but I never used to suffer from oily roots until I moved to Japan. When I'm going to blow out my hair, I apply the conditioner to the mid-lengths of my hair to the ends. I usually leave this conditioner on for 5-10 minutes, while brushing my teeth or shave my legs. After rinsing, my hair feels soft, moisturized, and tangle-free.

Now we move onto the styling products.

Wella SP Luxeoil Keratin Boost Essence Leave-In Treatment: I apply 2-3 sprays on the palm of my hand, rub both hands together and distribute the leave-in treatment to the mid-length of my hair to the ends. I heat style my hair almost everyday, and the Wella SP Luxeoil Keratin Boost Essence Leave-In Treatment nourishes and revitalizes my hair without weighing it down, and keeps it looking like a crispy, bird's nest.

Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Perfect Blow Out Creme: Again, I apply the Perfect Blow Out from the mid-length of my hair to the ends. Protecting against thermal styling, it allows my jumbo round brush to glide through my hair easily while blow drying. After the two hours it takes to do my hair, it's hydrated, silky-smooth, and frizz-free without looking, or feeling, greasy or heavy.

Wella SP Luxeoil Reconstructive Elixir: One of my all-time favorite hair products, period! I use the elixir mainly as a finishing product. Using one pump, I apply it to the mid-length to the ends, focusing most of the product on the ends. My hair looks healthy, smooth and radiant.

All the Wella SP Luxeoil products contain Argan, Almond, and Jojoba oils, and the Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Perfect Blow Out Creme contains Rhodiola Extract, Vitamin C, Vegetable Proteins, Linseed Extract, and Algae Extract. Aside from how great these products work on my hair, they smell AH-MAY-ZING! The Wella products have a fruity, sweet tropical scent; while, the Alterna has a fresh verbena-like fragrance. If you're as merciless on your hair as I am, I highly recommend trying these products, your hair will forgive you for it!

What hair care products are you using at the moment?
