  3. What a generous giveaway, Liz! =D

Personally, I'd love to say "I like these sorts of colours; go to town!" because I think you'd be fun to shop with (and would have fun shopping for?) and this is the closest I could get. But if I haaaaad to choose for myself...

Eyeshadows: Late Spring, Sandbar, Silent Scream, Fudge (RIP Pink Python, gone before I got to it)
    Blush: Empire Passion
Cheek Stick: Rose Bar (what happened to Suspicious?!?!?!?! I am deeply upset right now!)
    Lipstick: Tokyo Mon Amour

Thanks for always being awesome & enabling those of us outside of Japan time & time again! =)

    1. Hey Toby!

LOl, Whenever any of my girlfriend want to go makeup shopping, they ask me to come along. I guess I'm like a cosmetic Visa, never leave home without me :P

Shopping together would be fun, dangerous (I don't spend money, I burn it!), but fun.

What the heck is up with Addiction being all ninja like, and discontinuing products! I had no idea Suspicious was discontinued! I would have purchased a few backups...darn!

Thank you for always being so sweet, you are one of the people that motivate and keep me blogging <3

    2. I've got my fingers crossed I can hussle up the money to visit Japan again next spring/summer. Maybe I can drag you out to shop then! (Would that be creepy? D:)

Yes, and discontinuing Concrete Jungle? Deep Forest? ARGH! So stealthy & upsetting.

      Delete
    3. Not creepy at all, I insist! But, I will warn you to bring an empty credit card, because the shopping (and eating) will be serious!

I've been pretty pissed at the brand for discontinuing those shades. They were really unique shades, especially in Japan.

    4. The foooooood. I miss Ippudo's habanero ramen. :(

I'm lucky that I grabbed Concrete Jungle before it was discontinued, but I'm really bitter about Deep Forest & Pink Python. ugh ugh ugh Addiction is still my favourite Japanese brand, though - I've been more & more frustrated with my Three eyeshadows because they're so dry & glittery, I get a ton of fallout.

    5. Addiction is one of my favs as well. I need to post more products.

How/what are you using to apply your THREE Shadows?

      Delete
    6. I'm using the shu uemura N10 to pat/swipe the shadows on. I find the cream shadows crease on me super easily, & the glittery shades are hard, don't pick up much pigment, & are fallout city. :( Any tips?

    7. Hey Toby, sorry for taking forever to reply.

I found Stila's #5 All Over Shadow Brush works perfectly with the THREE regular and glitter shadows, and MAC's 242 Shader Brush for the cream shadows. There's another brush I like to use with the creams, but I can't find it now. So, get back to you on that :) Also, fingers would well with the creams and glitters.

    8. No problem. Thanks for the tips! I'll give it another go.

I hope you have more time to relax! <3

    2. Glad you noticed! Hahah yes, I get some questions about my blog name! It was many years ago now and I was thinking of a new email address I could stick to since I had so many when I was a teenager! I was just thinking how there is no 'black' mentos and that it had a nice ring to it! Nothing deep or special really! :p

    3. Sorry to taking FOREVER to reply...sorry! And yes, I notice everything :) I truly appreciate you sticking with me, and I enjoying reading your comments and chatting with you Sharlynn.

Black Mentos does have a nice ring to it.

  6. Never tried Addiction, but I've seen so many reviews that I'm dying to go to Japan. I'd get brushes and makeup galore <3. Thanks for this chance...so far I have never bought any Japanese makeup online because I haven't swatched nor tried any. These would be my picks:

Eyesahdows: Sandbar, Flash Back, (I had in my wishlist Neverland and Concrete Jungle but I can't find them in the official website, so instead I'd chose these other two shades, or 2 that you would suggest that you like^^:) Mustard Tree and Deep Forest
    Blush: Good Girl
    Cheek Stick: Revenge
Lipstick: the pure line in Pale Flower

    1. Thank you for participating Nuria. Japan is an amazing and dangerous place for cosmetic shopping. When you come, prepare to spend loads of money!

Sadly, Neverland, Concrete Jungle and Deep Forest have been discontinued. Still pissed at the brand for that.

Good luck, and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you :)

  9. SO HARD TO CHOOSE!

    but, here goes:

Four Addiction Eyeshadows: Would the Tuxedo Moon quad count? :P If not, Beige, Flash Back, Singita, Private Beach,
One Addiction Blush: good girl (or maybe beachlife, if you think it would show up on me, i can't find any swatches)
One Addiction Cheek Stick: Argan Tree (I love the four that I have, this one is next in line)
One Addiction Lipstick: last scene (the sheer one, looks so gorgeous)

    2. Oh Emi, now I want the Tuxedo Moon quad too. :P
And in the limited edition packaging -- have you seen it?

    3. I guess I should have made one of the quads an option as well huh?

  10. Liz, you've sucked me down the Addiction hole. Oh gosh, I've spent more than err... one....two... three... hours... looking up product swatches. For my sanity's sake, I'm listing "today's" list. I'd appreciate your recommendations. I need help!

    Eyeshadow:
    - 012ME Rigoletto, Singita-or-ME Flashback, 058P Silent Scream, P045 Bad Romance,
    - Maybe: 017ME Fudge, Truffle, 055P Blue Moon, 048P Safari Mode
    - I'd like the quad to be cohesive on its own (except for mattes, which I can easily grab from UD Naked Basics or UD Pulp Fiction) and not overly metallic. Do you think this works with what I've chosen?
    - Are Fudge and MAC Woodwinked similar (or any other MAC eyeshadow)?

    Blush: Unsure...
    - I'm looking for a replacement for my Cargo Tonga (ever tried it?), which is a beautiful version of Tarte Exposed. What would you recommend from Addiction?
    - Peach/coral is the easy route, but I'm happy with my RMK 04 Coral Beige ‘Mix Color for Cheeks" and RMK 02 Coral 'MCfC'.

    Cheek Stick: Revenge…
Lipstick: Tokyo Story (Pure), or Last Scene (Sheer), or Door Open (Tint Lip Protector)

    1. Both quad choose would work beautifully with one another. As for Fudge and Woodwink, are totally different in shade and finish.

I have to check my blush stash, but I think I have it. I think 19 Beach Life, 23 Autumn Afternoon or 01 Brown Toast are closest in shade. A pretty peach/coral is 06 Revenge.

      Hope this helps BooBooNinja :)

    2. Thank you!
Emi also got me interested in the Tuxedo Moon quad. I went a-searching on the internet and discovered the Jean-Michel Basquiat packaging. Wooo! Did you end up getting any of those quads?

    3. Yes, I got all of them. I've posted some on the blog, have you seen the posts
? I really loved that collection.

Yet, when I read the caption on the little ornament that day in the boutique, it spoke to me in a way that I cannot describe.
