Topped with a generic gold-colored lid, I did like the bluish-grey color of the 15 oz jar.

"The table is a meeting place, a gathering ground, the source of sustenance and nourishment, festivity, safety, and satisfaction. A person cooking is a person giving: Even the simplest food is a gift."

- Laurie Colwin

This November I've been burning all five candles from Colonial Candle's Harvest Sentiments Collection that I've had for several years. First up, Gather Together.

I typically steer clear of candles (anything) with phrases on them, but hey, it's Thanksgiving-themed puns, so made an exception.

Topped with a generic gold-colored lid, I did like the bluish-grey color of the 15 oz jar.

Gather Together's fragrance notes are:

Top: Crisp Red Apple, Pear, Peach, Citrus

Middle: Apple Peel, Dewy Greens, Jasmine, Lily, Cyclamen

Base: Applewood, Sheer Musks

When burning Gather Together, I definitely got the blend of apple, citrus, floral, and a powdery note that I assume was the musk. The candle had a good throw, a clean burn, and took what felt like forever to finish.

If you ask me if I would repurchase Gather Together, I'd say no. I didn't dislike the candle, nor did I love it. It had a pleasant scent, and I'm glad I tried it because I would have been tormented by the 'what ifs' if I hadn't.
