Running on Empty: November Empties!

Redken Smooth Down Detangling Cream & Redken Smooth Down Heat Glide: I LOVE both of these AMAZING products!!! Alas, the entire Smooth Down line has been replaced with the Smooth Lock (which I love equally as well). Will always repurchase.

Redken All Soft Conditioner: All Soft leaves my hair feeling soft, moisturized and manageable. A favorite line to use when I leave my hair curly. Will repurchase.

Carol's Daughter Macadamia Heat Protection Gloss: I've had this product for some time, and I'm ecstatic to finally be rid of it! I will never repurchase this product!

Kose Perfect Make-Up Remover (eyes & lips): I've also been harboring this make-up remover for some time, and just like the Macadamia Heat Protection Gloss, I wasn't impressed!

Bath & Body Works' White Tea and Ginger Shower Gel: One of my favorite BBW scents, and I'll always repurchase!

Skintimate Strawberry Tangerine Twist shave Gel: I don't know what my legs would do without the Skintimate line!

I would love to know if you've tired any of these products and what your thoughts are :)

Just When You Thought It Was Over...Inglot Freedom System 20 Eyeshadow Palette #5 Swatches

December is an extremely busy time for me, so I haven't been able to post as frequently as I've wanted. Also, I've been plagued with bad weather; gloomy overcast days when I'm off and gorgeous sunny sky when I work...why me?!

Before leaving for work today, I was able to swatch and take some photos of another one of my Inglot palettes (yes, there's more :P). I wasn't going to post this until I the had time to write the color descriptions, but I really didn't want to go three days
without posting. I'll include the color descriptions later, but if you can't wait, please leave a comment :)

Bluer Than Velvet Was The Night...Orly's Royal Velvet

Originally released in the Spring 2011 Precious Collection, Royal Velvet is a deep, plum/royal blue duochrome with blue shimmers.

Please ingore the broke nail on my pointer finger.

As much as I LOVE the color, I'm not too thrilled with the formula. Royal Velvet's formula runs thin, applies patchy, and requires three coats to even out any bald spots and achieve opacity. Also, this polish chips and/or peels after three days of wear. And, with all that written, I love the color enough to turn a blind eye on this problematic polish. What can I say? I'm a glutton for punishment :P

Runaway Brunette!

Yup, I've dyed my hair again. Although, I loved the previous color, it would fade too quickly. So, I went with Salon de Pro.

I thought the packaging was really neat; a real interesting/fun way to dispense the product.

The useless comb that you're suppose to use to distribute the dye.

I totally forgot to take a photo while the dye was in my hair...sorry!

The end result is similar to the previous dye- an ash brown with golden accents. Let's hope this color doesn't fade as much.

Ca Va? SABON BIEN!

I've been sniffing this shower oil as I write this post, and the best way I can described this scent is "YOU NEED THIS IN YOUR LIFE" luscious. A lovely, subtle harmonization of lavender, vanilla, patchouli, and a bit of magic (yes, you can bottle it :P). Patchouli is a scent I avoid like the plague, but the patchouli is this shower oil is soft and sophisticated. Honestly, I can't get enough of this fragrance, I need this made into a perfume!!

The beautiful apothecary glass bottle (recyclable!), with the antiqued bronzed pump, gives the packaging a classic and elegant appearance.

The shower oil lathers wonderfully, leaving the skin soft, moisturized, without any oily residue. Love, love, love SABON's shower oils!

Blackberry Stains

I've had this polish for so long, that the lettering has rubbed off :P Revlon's Blackberry is a sophisticated, deep, bronzed rose-red shimmer. The formula runs a little on the thin side; however, you can achieve the same opacity as the bottle with three coats. Three coats may be one coat too many for some, but Blackberry applies smoothly, streak-free, and has a lovely glow.
