If you connect with me on Instagram, you'll know why this post is extremely late. In case you don't (but it would be nice if you did), after a bad eye-poke incident while sparing, my eye swole up pretty badly. Thankfully, I'm okay now and I'm back to wearing a full face of makeup.

I own several Hipdot Palettes. with that said, my sole reason for purchasing the Hipdot x Peeps Eyeshadow Palette was to pair it with Dollish Polish's, Where My Peeps At?, nail polish for Easter.

In a violet background, both the sleeve and the palette are blazoned with rows of peep chicks (one in yellow) and traced in gold.

When you open the palette, your eyes are instantly drawn to the adorable peep bunny-shaped mirror, too cute.

Retailing for $16, the palette comes with six shades: 3 mattes, 1 matte with micro glitter, and 2 shimmers.

From left to right: Bunny, Cute, Marshmallow, Sugar-coated, Chick, Sweet.

Bunny: a matte, bright, medium Easter egg blue.

Cute: a matte, orange-tinged, caramel.

Marshmallow: a matte, bright violet.

Sugar-coated: a soft beige-peach matte with micro glitter.

Chick: a medium candy pink shimmer.

Sweet: a peeps chick yellow shimmer.

The shade names, along with the color story, are befitting of the theme, and perfect for Easter as well as spring.

The eyeshadows in this Peeps palette are good quality. The shadows are creamy, pigmented, and blend very well, while maintaining bold color payoff. I never mention kickup because it's not a major issue for me (if you want to save product, just press your brush into the remnant powder), but there was a substantial amount of excess in the pan.

On a side note, I've been meaning to start a beauty cleanout series. I previously did this with the "should it stay or should it go" series. However, in light of a possible move, I'm going to revive the series, but possibly with a different name (still thinking on that).

I thought the Hipdot x Peeps Eyeshadow Palette would be the first in the cleanout series to exit my collection, but I've enjoyed using it so much, that it is staying.
